If you have a bike or bikes just taking up space in your garage now is the time to sell!  Continental Ski & Bike will be hosting the annual Bike Swap on Saturday & Sunday, April 21 & 22. This is a great way to get some quick cash and get rid of any bikes you no longer use.

Organizers do ask that bikes be clean and in reasonably good condition. Over 550 bikes were sold last year, and they anticipate even more to be sold this year.

To Sell Your Bike: When you sell your bike you will receive 75% of the profit and 25% goes towards Animal Allies and The Head of the Lakes United Way. If your bike does not sell on Saturday the 21st it will automatically be discounted 20% for sale on Sunday the 22nd. If you do want your bike sold for the discount you must pick it up Saturday by 5pm.  BIKE CHECK IN BEGINS: April 19th and 20th at 9am and April 21st from 8am-9:30am.

Buying a Bike: You do not have to sell a bike to get a bike. Experts from Continental Ski and Bike will be on hand to help you find a perfect bike that is just right for you.

Donate a Bike: If you so choose all of the proceeds from the sale of your bike will go to 2 Local Charities: Animal Allies and The Head of the Lakes United Way.  You can drop off donated bikes starting today at Continental Ski and Bike 1305 East 1st Street, Hours: M-F 9am-7pm Saturdays: 9-5 and Sundays 11am-5pm.

Last year this event raised $12,000 for Animal Allies and The Head of the Lakes United Way, and the money was divided equally between each organization.
