It is no secret that the Minnesota Timberwolves aren't an exciting destination for players at this point. A playoff drought of 10 years compounded by star player Kevin Love looking to leave aren't the most appealing circumstances for potential new talent.

As the announcement was made that UCLA player Zach LaVine was selected by the Timberwolves with the 13th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, LaVine seemed to show some significant discontent about his new team. LaVine has since explained that the visual of his head in his hands and the easily visible 'F--- me" were simply reactions of shock that he had been picked so early in the draft.
