Oh man, we have all heard or seen in person how dangerous it can be walking around New York City, but can you imagine falling through the sidewalk?

32 year old Ulanda Williams of Queens New York was seeking shelter from the rain outside of a restaurant when the sidewalk gave way and she fell 7 feet into the basement of the restaurant. She has said that her size is actually what saved her from being killed.

She had to be pulled out of the hole with a crane type apparatus and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she was being treated for 2 broken bones in her arm. This poor woman, not only does she fall in a hole, then needs the crane to get her out followed by a dozen rescue workers trying to get her into the ambulance.

But, she seems to have taken it all in stride and seems to be grateful for her large size in saving her.
