Thanks to the hard work of Riki McManus and others form the Upper Minnesota Film board, another movie is currently in production right here in Duluth.

The film is called 'No Blood of Mine' and is currently shooting all over the area including at a popular Northland restaurant The Breeze InnAccording to co-owner Kate Waggoner, The Breeze was recommended to the film crew by McManus because they were looking for a bar surrounded by woods, and this was a perfect choice.

The film's genre is Duluth Film Noir and the storyline revolves around family, murder and money. It is always exciting when filming takes place in the Northland with many diverse locations to choose from. The film is set to be released in 2016, so stay tuned for any updates. I hope that the cast and crew have a chance to have a Northland "Juicy Lucy" burger while filming at The Breeze Inn, it is my personal favorite!
