A Popular Norwegian Reality Show Has a Casting Call Tomorrow in Bloomington Minnesota

Even the name of our state is heavily laden in Norwegian Flair, I once heard a stand up comedian joke that the ancestors from way back when wanted to find a place as cold and miserable as where they left, and founded Minnesota!

Apparently the citizens of Norway have a super popular show going on called  Alt for Norge (a.k.a. The Great Norway Adventure), where 12 Americans are taped roaming the country looking for their ancestors and enjoying all the fun and sights of Norway. They sure picked the right place to come find some Norwegian Americans here in Minnesota.

If you are 18 years of age or older and have even a sliver of Norwegian Heritage you can try out at the Executive Center at the Mall of America tomorrow from 10:30am-3:30pm. The winner of the show gets a whopping $50,000. For more information on the try outs and the show itself click here.
