Soon a Taco-arcade-bar called Tacobarcade will make Duluth its home in the up and coming Lincoln Park Business District.

You had me at taco, hooked me deeper in with arcade, and reeled me in with bar. According to DNT, Tom Hanson (owner of Duluth Grill, OMC Smokehouse, and Corktown Deli) has leased a vacant space and Taco Barcade will go into the corner spot on 19th Ave W. and Superior St.

A tentative open date will be Cinco de Mayo (very fitting) and plans are still in the early stages. But Hanson's vision is to create a fun experience while adding to the growing business district in the west end. He plans on having vintage arcade games like Pac-Man. He also plans on having an entire wall of of old-school video games.

This venture has also been a collaboration with Frost River's Owner, Christian Benson. Both Hanson and Benson agree it's about more than just opening a restaurant, it's about investing in the neighborhood.

I've always wanted to have a barcade in Duluth and I'm so excited to finally have one that includes tacos!
