A Visitors Guide to Spirit Mountain’s Adventure Park

One of the places on my summer check list is another trip to the Adventure Park at Spirit Mountain, it's the closest you'll come to the stomach turning, adrenaline pumping fun of a major amusement park north of the Twin Cities.

Featuring the Timber Twister" Alpine Coaster, "Timber Flyer" Zip Line and the 9-Hole Mini Golf Course Adventure Park has enough excitement to entertain the family for the day.

Timber Twister Alpine Coaster

Riders on the Timber Twister will race along a 3,200-foot track, through the forest, and down the mountain in individual coaster cars. Riders can travel alone or in pairs, and have complete control of their speed (up to 26-mph) for a truly unique, hands-on experience.

Timber Flyer Zip Line

On the "Timber Flyer" you can ride Single or Double on a bench-type seat secured with safety belts. The ride takes you zipping through the treetops, 700 feet down the mountain, overlooking Lake Superior and Duluth.
