Not 1 or 2, but 3 world records have been achieved by pop sensation Adele. The album "21" has spent 11 weeks at #1 in the UK, knocking out Madonna's 1991 record with the Immaculate Collection.

Set to go on sale this Thursday in the UK, the 2012 edition of the Guinness World Book of Records features a number of new record winners, three by renowned British music icon Adele.

According to a sneak peek released on Monday, September 12th, Adele managed to earn three new Guinness World Records for the first female to have two singles and two albums in the UK top 5 simultaneously – a feat previously achieved by the Beatles back in 1963. If that wasn’t impressive enough, Adele has seen staggering album sales on her second album, 21, which is now the first one in UK chart history to reach sales of three million in a single calendar year.
