Adrian Peterson is having a pretty good season playing for the Washington Redskins, and he's looking forward to the postseason and possibly playing, and beating, the Vikings.

Peterson was on 106.7 The Fan in Washington D.C. talking about his newfound success with Redskins and during the interview was asked about the possibility of playing the Vikings in the postseason, Peterson responded by saying "It would be exciting. I can definitely say that."

He goes on to say that "It’s a great organization. Hopefully, it would be at home here, so get those guys out here in the chilly weather outside. But it would be fun to knock them out of the playoffs."

Peterson and the Redskins are currently in first place in the NFC East with a record of 5-3, and the Vikings are tied for first with Bears in the NFC North with a record of 5-3-1, so a future matchup is well within the realm of possibility.

(Skip ahead to about 8:20 into the interview to hear him talk about the Vikings)
