Adrian Peterson Will Appear on the Cover of Some Editions of Madden 25

In a vote for who will grace the cover of the 25th anniversary edition of the Madden NFL video game franchise, a classic name beat out Adrian Peterson. In resilient AP fashion, Peterson will still appear on some covers of this year's Madden release; even after coming in second place in voting.

Following tradition, EA Sports held voting to see who would be the cover guy for this year's cover of their Madden franchise. As the game celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, fans decided to vote in favor of NFL great Barry Sanders. While Sanders will be featured on the cover of Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii games, it appears Peterson will be the cover guy for Xbox One and PS4 releases of the game when the new consoles hit stores later this year.
