As we learned recently, Arby's decided to serve up some venison just in time for deer hunting at locations around the country where deer hunting is popular. We decided to check it out for ourselves to see how it was.

Holding firm on their claim that they "have the meats", the folks with the big cowboy hat took on the first effort I'm aware of to bring venison to a fast food chain. Fast food venison definitely is intriguing, but could be awful. Being Ian and I aren't afraid to try new (and sometimes gross) foods, we headed to one of the two Twin Ports area Arby's locations to grab a sandwich.

Being that the Tennessee locations that served the venison sandwiches last weekend ran out, we decided to get there as soon as possible. We met the first person to get a venison sandwich in Superior. The woman excitedly showed us a camo t-shirt that she was given for being the first person to order the sandwich. So, how was it? Check out the video to see!

If you're interested in trying it for yourself, both the Superior and Cloquet locations will be offering (while supplies last) from Friday, November 4 through Sunday, November 6.
