There are 3 GameStop locations in the Twin Ports and some or all could be on the chopping block.

The video game and collectibles retailer said today that it expects to close up to 3% of their 6,600 stores around the world, this could mean about 150 stores closing their doors by year's end.

The retailer did not announce which stores would be closing and I for one hope the Twin  Ports locations survive the round of closings.

GameStop has been hit with slumping big name video game sales and a decrease in console sales. They do say the new Nintendo Switch is helping, but it may not be enough. The chain is also making bigger investments in collectibles, with stores dedicated to selling them and not video games.
