Christina Perri hasn’t released a single since ‘A Thousand Years,’ which garnered a lot of attention thanks to the movie ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1,’ where the world first heard it as an exclusive track for the film. But the singer is back, along with Jason Mraz, and has released a video for her song ‘Distance,’ off of her debut album ‘Lovestrong.’
UK singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who sings ‘The A Team,’ a song we still haven’t managed to get out of our pretty little heads, was in New York recently to promote his new album. Oh, and he was also in town to perform a sold-out show at Bowery Ballroom. No biggie.
Lord help that 19-year-old Miley Cyrus if she made it to the altar before we did. She got engaged before we did, so technically there’s a good chance she’ll get married before we do (Snooki “wah”), but are her and fiancee Liam Hemsworth already married?!
If you haven’t already picked up Maroon 5‘s newest album ‘Overexposed,’ then you should probably march yourself over to the nearest corner and sit for a time out. We’re basically a walking advertisement for the album for two reasons: 1) We’re hoping Adam Levine will somehow notice us; and 2) The bonus tracks on the album are pretty sick.
Sometimes we wonder what it’d be like if we were famous – -mind you, in our warped minds, we’re total A-listers — and if we’d share personal photos of our kids on Twitter. But Jessica Simpson just shared an adorable picture of her baby girl Maxwell Drew and that seals the deal for us; we’d totally post pictures of our kids solely because we’d hope someone, somewhere, would be writing an article much like this one.
The spawn of Beyonce and Jay Z is not even six months old yet, and she’s already getting the star treatment from a country that she doesn’t even call home. Angelina Jolie should be getting a little nervous right about now. In case you were wondering if this honor would be bestowed upon your child first, we’re sorry to report that Blue Ivy has been named an honorary citizen of Hvar, Croatia.
It’s here, you guys! Maroon 5‘s video ‘One More Night’ was just released and now we get to bask in some shirtless Adam Levine ambiance. Also, we were totally right about what we thought was going on in the vid based on the behind the scenes look — 10 points for Gryffindor!
Katy Perry graces the cover of the most recent issue of The Hollywood Reporter, and man did things get real. The singer’s upcoming film ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me,’ which she personally financed, is set to be released on July 5, and it gives fans a peak inside her colorful world. But sometimes, things weren’t all rainbows and butterflies.
A few days ago we told you all about newest “It-girl” Carly Rae Jepsen’s collaboration with Owl City on a new single called ‘Good Time.’ We only had an 18-second sneak peek of the track then, but now, we have the entire song!
It’s bad enough that the world had to suffer through Katy Perry’s super flat performance of ‘Wide Awake’ at the MuchMusic Video Awards last night (June 17), but now we have to read about the aftermath of her brilliant (read: not so brilliant) red carpet idea.
Carly Rae Jepsen is the gift that just keeps on givin’, guys — the girl cleaned house tonight at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards! The Canada native took home the award for Video of the Year for ‘Call Me Maybe,’ and it was one of the night’s biggest awards.
So while we sat waiting for another award to be given out or another performance to be announced, we were greeted once again by our lovely MuchMusic Video Award hosts LMFAO. Oh, and to add excitement, they decided to bring out Darren Criss from ‘Glee,’ who gave a quasi-performance of the duo’s ‘Sorry for Party Rocking’ as it would be performed on Broadway, to announce the next performer.
