January 29, 2013 I was watching cartoons with my kids the other day, when the show "Adventure Time" on the Cartoon Network came on. Am I the only one that doesn't get this show? And after an episode of "The Amazing Adventures of Gumball" I realized that I just don't understand cartoons (aimed at kids) anymore. I long for the cartoons of the mid-1980's and early 1990's--my cartoon watching prime.

January 22, 2013 Ok guys, this one's for you. There's no rule that states you must make dinner reservations and plan a night out on the town for Valentine's Day. As a matter of fact, many women (myself included) would probably LOVE to have their man take over the kitchen and do a romantic dinner in. Afterward, how about cuddling up with her on the couch and popping in a great Romantic Comedy YOU picked out? I'm not suggesting you have to succumb to "The Notebook" in order to please her. (But you may score some brownie points if you do.) January 18, 2013 Ingrid Michaelson teamed up with 21 young students from Newtown, Connecticut, to record "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" as a tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. All proceeds from the sale of the song will benefit the Newtown Youth Academy and the United Way of Western Connecticut.
