A few weeks ago the City of Duluth asked the public to bring their bagged leaves for the tipping of the roses, and now enough bags have been collected.

According to a press release from the Parks and Rec division, they are no longer accepting bagged leave at the Rose Garden. The bags of leaves were to help winterize the roses and enough bags have been collected.

If you still have bagged leaves, you are asked to bring them to  WLSSD’s Yard Waste Compost Site (2626 Courtland Ave.). Leaves and grass clippings are accepted free of charge. For hours and fees, you can go to their website or call 218-722- 0761.
