While Duluth swept through Outside Magazine's "Best Outdoor Town in America" contest to be named the winner earlier this month, our Highway 2 neighbors, Bemidji, are in another national contest - and need your help!

Bemidji's "Paul and Babe" statues are up for the honor of being named best quirky landmark in the country in USA Today's 10Best Reader's Poll. The statues, which stand on the shore of Lake Bemidji, are the only upper-midwestern representation in the contest, which also features Dallas's "Big Tex" and Virginia's "Foamhenge".

Voting goes through 11 am today (local time Monday, June 23), so if you feel like helping a fellow Minnesota town earn some national props, hit the button below to submit your vote!
