Is a Big Boi-Andre 3000 Outkast Reunion in the Works?

Have you been waiting with bated breath for a new Outkast album? Well, the bad news is you may be waiting for awhile.
The good news is a Big Boi and Andre 3000 collaboration may happen soon.
Big Boi told Rolling Stone recently that with record executive L.A. Reid — the man who first signed the group – moving from Island Def Jam to Epic Records, it could mean a collaboration between him and fellow Outkast member André 3000 on his next solo album, ‘Daddy Fat Sax’.
“L.A. has permission to make it happen now,” Big Boi said. “So I hope it does, and I don’t really see why it won’t.”
Big Boi’s solo deal with Def Jam Records and Outkast’s solo deal with Jive Records kept the pair’s ‘Lookin’ for Ya’ collaboration from appearing on Big Boi’s 2010 solo debut, ‘Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty.’
Let’s hope we get to hear new music from Outkast soon. In the meantime, enjoy the group’s hit song ‘The Whole World.’
