Bored With Regular Golf? How About Footgolf? [VIDEO]

I had posted a blog a while back, about giant golf holes which were to make the sport of golf a little easier. Now to add to that is a new sport called Foot Golf and it is taking off in some areas.

I am sure that golfers around the country are rolling their eyes at the thought of people kicking soccer balls around a golf course, but this sport is actually booming in the Twin Cities!   It has been described as a hybrid of golf and kick ball, and definitely is attracting the younger active set of sports enthusiasts.

Similar to golf the object is to get the ball in the hole with as few kicks as possible. Many of these courses are are already in place int he Twin Cities with a few more being planned. I think that this is a great outlet for people who do not want to play the conventional game of golf....but for some reason I can't get the image of Ted Knight throwing a fit from Caddyshack....
