It is hard to imagine trying to get through a Northand winter without a winter coat and warm hat, but for many kids in the Northland this is a reality. Either they have an ill fitting hand me down jacket, maybe the jacket they have is worn out or they have none at all.

But thanks to the recent generous donation of 48 hats and coats many kids will be nice and warm this winter. The coat distribution is one of many Holiday events at the Northland Boys and Girls Club which ensures warm clothing, food, and recognition to youth who are at-risk in the Northland community.

So far this year, the Boys & Girls Clubs have served more than 6,500 kids between the ages of 6 and 18 and provided over 60,000 healthy meals and snacks for hungry children across our region. Thanks to generous donations like this the Boys and Girls Club of the Northland can continue to provide these vital services. For more information on Boys and Girls Club of the Northland Click Here
