Breaking News: Jennifer Hudson’s Former Brother-in-Law Sentenced

A judge in Chicago has sentenced Jennifer Hudson's former brother-in-law, 31 year old William Balfour, to three consecutive life sentences for the 2008 murders of Jennifer's mother, Darnell Donerson, her brother Jason Hudson, and nephew Julian King.

He was also convicted of home invasion and residential burglary.

Balfour was convicted in May of slaying the three family members in a jealous rage, believing that his estranged wife, Julia Hudson, was dating another man.

The judge, earlier on Tuesday, denied Balfour’s motion for a new trial.
