BreakTime BreakDown 05AUG2014 – Big Bang Theory Cast Gets Big Contracts

Michael Strahan is going through a split with his significant other Nicole Murphy.  Murphy announced that he was unfaithful on Friday.  Here's the thing though, last weekend he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.  Murphy says it wasn't due to revenge that she announced it then, but instead, because she got confirmation he was messing around.  The relationship had to be tough anyway with Strahan doing Live with Kelly on east coast and her being on the west coast.

The Big Bang Theory's eighth season was about to begin production but came to a halt because the stars wanted to renegotiate their contracts.  Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons, and Johnny Galecki have signed new deals now that increase their pay from $325,000 per episode to $1 million per episode.  Two of the other main actors Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar are still in negotiations but a deal is expected.  The contracts were made for three years which confirms that there will be an 8th, 9th, and 10th season of Big Bang Theory.

Forbes magazine is releasing tons of numbers that they have found over the last year.  This time the highest paid actresses over the last year.  The number one was kind of surprising to me.  Sandra Bullock earned $51 million this last year.  Coming in second was Jennifer Lawrence at $34 million, 3rd Jennifer Anniston at $31 Million, Gwyneth Paltrow at $19 million, and Angelina Jolie with $18 million.  If you had asked me I would have honestly thought Jennifer Lawrence was the top spot.  But there was almost a $20 million difference.
