Busy Kenwood Intersection in Duluth Approved for Traffic Improvements [VIDEO]

On Monday the Duluth City Council approved traffic improvements for two busy intersections in the Kenwood Village area of Duluth.

According to WDIO the intersections are on Kenwood Avenue and Arrowhead Road and Kenwood Avenue and Cleveland Street. On top of average traffic this is a vein of traffic for College students and for myself a short cut to get to the Lakeside area.

The improvements will include designated turn lanes, and left turn signals, plus additional pedestrian signals and crosswalks. This area is somewhat unique in that it is a mix of many businesses and homes as well, so this all needs to be blended to work for everyone.

The project is expected to be completed by early 2017.
