The young up-and-coming star – and famed Hollywood offspring — may step into the iconic redheaded role in a film remake of the musical, according to Variety.
Dad Will Smith would potentially produce the project with Sony.
Although details of the possible reboot are still in the early stages, Jay-Z could come on board to help with the film’s music, the trade mag reported. No word yet if it would be contemporary versions of the 1982 classic soundtrack or if all new songs would be used
