2 weeks ago Mix 108 is proud to be a sponsor again this year for the 29th Annual YWCA Mother’s Day Walk/Run. The 5K run was started 29 years ago by Betty Brasgala. As an avid runner, she saw the need for a women-only event in Duluth to inspire women to “get off the sidelines”. After three years, Betty chose to affiliate the race with the YWCA.
