Consider this weekend a study of three animation companies. A single new movie opens our local Marcus Theatres this weekend, but with a whole cavalcade of stars, you may feel like you’re getting several flicks all rolled into one.

With the exception of poor Katy Perry, everyone was a winner at the box office this week. Seriously. It’s difficult to imagine two more different films going head-to-head at the box office.
