Goodbye Metrodome! After Nearly 10 Years, Vikings and State Come Together for a New Stadium to Open in 2015

Great news today for all Vikings fans as the Minnesota Senate passes a bill for a new Vikings stadium in Minneapolis, that was basically the last approval needed before the bill goes to Governor Dayton for an expected signature

The new state of the art $975 million stadium will be located in the same space the Metrodome sits now, 3/4 of the new stadium will be built before the Metrodome meets the wreaking ball and the Vikings play a season at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium while the new stadium is finished in time for the 2015 season.
