It's game day, and high school football takes center stage across the Northland tonight. Among the games, ESPN 560 WEBC will have Hudson vs. Superior for the Spartans annual homecoming game with coverage starting at 6:30.
Just one more year for the UMD means hockey in the WCHA before they move on to the NCHC hockey conference in 2013. The Bulldogs first joined the WCHA back in 1965, which is 47 years of WCHA Hockey coming to a close for UMD this season.
The NFL and and the NFL Referees Association have agreed to a contract that will send referees back to the field this weekend, according to NFL.com.
