The Duluth Playhouse Children’s Theatre received a challenge grant for $2,500 from Lahti Charitable Foundation and is looking for contributors to help match it for a goal of $5,000 by the end of the year.

Donations go to need-based scholarships for classes and camps, free and reduced ticket prices for school matinee performances, specialty costumes, production support, and year-round education.

The Duluth Playhouse actually helped me fall in love with theatre. When I was 7 years old, I got a call from my godmother asking if I could fill a role in an upcoming play at the Playhouse. I ended up being Grumpy in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarves' and since then I've been in over 15 other plays.
