The Duluth Cross City Trail Mini-Master Plan is needing input as the vision for the trail includes a 10.3-mile multi-purpose, non-motorized,paved trail system.

The trail will also be wheelchair accessible, which I think is important. The trail plans to end at the Pulaski Street trailhead shared with the Willard Munger State Trail. This plan will be the culmination of 12 plus years of intensive planning and development work at the federal, state, local, and grassroots levels.

When it's all said and done, the North Shore corridor and the Lakewalk will be connected to the Munger Trail and according to the plan, this is a statewide recreational priority. The draft plan will be open for comment until February 24, 2017. You input will help inform the Duluth Parks staff and the Parks and Recreation Commission on revisions to the Master Plan. The revised plan will then be presented to the Commission on March 8, 2017.
