Cloquet Area Fire District Reminds Parents to be Aware of Objects in Your Car After a Microwave Pushes a Car Seat Into a Door During I-35 Accident
Cloquet Area Fire District posted a photo on their Facebook page as a stark reminder to be aware of what objects are in your car, especially when you have a child in your vehicle.
According to the CAFD, they responded to a motor vehicle accident on I-35 near the Scanlon exit on August 13th, due to the impact of the collision a microwave in the trunk of the car was forced through the back seat and pushed the car seat against the door and window.
Fortunately no one was injured in the accident and no child was in the car seat at the time of the crash.
The CAFD used the opportunity to remind people to be aware of what is in your vehicle and what can happen with those objects if you were to get into an accident.
