Crash at Piedmont and Trinity Sends One to Hospital

A serious crash at Piedmont Ave. and Trinity Rd. sent one person to the hospital this morning. Is this intersection one of the worst in town?

A tanker truck crashed into a small silver passenger car this morning just before 10:30 and caused non-life threating injuries to the driver of the car; they were transported to the hospital for evaluation.

I drive through this intersection daily and see drivers acting recklessly two, three times a week. Drivers will try to beat the red light, cars will turn left onto Piedmont and nearly get hit or vehicles trying to turn right onto Trinity from Piedmont will cause problems with the traffic coming down the hill, these problems are amplified during the winter months.

I'm not sure what happened with this crash, but I'm sure it is one of the problems I mentioned above. Please take your time and don't drive like a manic.
