Cute Dogs Ahoy! Animal Planet Releases Roster for Puppy Bowl IX [PHOTOS]

For almost a decade, Animal Planet has televised the "Puppy Bowl" as an alternative contest to the big football game for dog lovers. The event's puppy player roster hit the web today and we have pictures and information about each pooch.

The game is set up to mimic the Super Bowl; complete with a halftime show, referees, and an announcer providing play by play of all the action. This year's Puppy Bowl will be on Animal Planet Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 2 pm Central.
