Demolition Finally Begins For New CVS Store in East Duluth

Demolition has finally begun between 12th Avenue East and Superior Street in Duluth as crews are working hard to clean up the former strip mall, to make room for a new business.

Many business' went by the wayside, including a gas station to make room for a new CVS store. The actual demolition has been delayed for months because a tenant in the strip mall was looking for a new location. Ironically this CVS store will be right across the street from Walgreens which moved fairly recently into their brand new building .

This seems to be the pattern as CVS built a store in West Duluth right across the street from a Walgreens as well. They say competition is always a good thing, and now people in this part of town will have more options on where to shop, and it will also bring many more jobs to the area too.
