Everytime I make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at my house I get a strange look from my wife, why? Because I put butter on my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

I insist that it is normal to butter a PB&J sandwich, why wouldn't you put butter on it? Butter isn't peanut butter, you put butter on other sandwiches, so why not a PB&J?

A quick internet search finds mixed results regarding this topic, some recipes suggest to use butter or margarine, and some do not.

So what is "normal" when it comes to adding butter to a PB&J sandwich? Take the poll and comment below about this controversial topic, I'll share the results of this poll and the MIX 108 staff poll tomorrow.
