Drake Reveals He’s ‘Happy,’ Dishes on New Album

Drake -- last name "Ever," first name "Greatest" -- is finally happy. It has not always been that way for the Canadian rapper and YMCMB member. But as he wraps his new album, he's enjoying his station in music and in life.

"A lot of people get on and it's like they're just waiting to get more on," Drizzy said, demonstrating a keen sense of self-awareness. "They're always waiting for a bigger moment to come. But I've started to realize that this is it, this is the moment. And it reads, you know? People come up to me now and they're like, 'Man, you look good! You look like you're happy.'"

It's a long, hard road to hoe, but when happiness is achieved, it's hard to hide or deny. And Drizzy is right to enjoy it while it lasts.

He also dished about his new platter, out next month, revealing that introspective and ambient tracks that find him seeking and not finding are MIA on 'Nothing Was the Same.'

"There's a lot less sort of ambient ballad moments on this album where I'm searching or longing for something," the onetime object of, uh, Amanda Bynes' affection said. "That sentiment is gone. Now I'm just kind of like, 'You know, I'm 26, I don't know what the f--- else I could be doing better than this. I feel incredible about how I'm able to support my family and friends and how supportive my family and friends have been of me."

That said, Drake is in a great place and we're expecting 'Nothing Was the Same' to be a better album for it.
