Throughout his already storied career, Drake's popped up just about everywhere, and renowned author Margaret Atwood wants the next place her fellow Canadian superstar materializes in to be an episode of the TV adaptation of The Handmaid's Tale, an acclaimed novel she wrote 32 years ago. She said as much in a recent interview with the Boston Review

Discussing the perceived toxicity of the U.S. social, economic and political climate for women in relation to her acclaimed dystopian novel—which explores a U.S. dominated by a theocratic, totalitarian government that forces fertile women (Handmaids) into sexual slavery while giving them the task of bearing children for infertile couples—Atwood eventually made it to the topic of The Handmaid's Tale TV show and her status as one of Canada's two most prominent stars along with Drizzy, whose most recent project, titled More Life, has over one billion streams on Spotify.

When asked if she'd ever met the entertainment dynamo, Atwood said no, but did suggest it'd be cool if he showed up on The Handmaid's Tale series. "Wouldn’t it be fun for him to have a cameo in season two of The Handmaid’s Tale?" she asked her interviewer.

Afterwards, Atwood took that suggestion a good bit further, saying she'd drop that "notion into the ear of Bruce Miller, the showrunner, and see what he can do with that, because of course the show is filmed in Toronto. Maybe Drake could help smuggle someone?" Sounds good to us.

Considering his connections to Toronto, which is where The Handmaid's Tale TV series is being filmed, we're sure Drizzy could pop up on the show if he wanted to. We'll have to wait and see.
