Drake has notched another hosting gig. Fresh off of his January stint as host and musical guest for an episode of 'SNL,' the Canadian rapper has now been hired to host the 2014 ESPYs.

Drake tweeted the good news that he will emcee the July 16 broadcast, even updating the cover of his recent 'Nothing Was the Same' album to have a sports -- in this case, golf — theme.

The ESPYs are handed out by cable sports network ESPN. The awards acknowledge both individual and team athletic achievements throughout a year.

Below is Drake's graphics-enhanced tweet.

Drake is a sports fan -- his new song 'Draft Day' references up and coming ballers and sports. Drizzy is also the ambassador for the Toronto Raptors of the NBA, since that's his home city. So Mr. Last Name, Ever, First Name, Greatest is firmly entrenched in the sports world.

Drizzy's resume sure is impressive. He got his start on the TV show 'Degrassi: The Next Generation,' so he has plenty of experience of in front of the camera and with acting and sketches. That, along with his winning personality and charm, make him a perfect choice to host the ESPYs.

Make a note on your calendar now so you can remember to tune in and watch Drizzy do his thang.
