DTA to Make Route Change Due to Blatnik Bridge Closure

For commuters who take the bus route using the Blatnik Bridge the DTA has announced the following route change.

Starting today Monday August 22nd the DTA will be changing Route 16 buses to the Bong Bridge. The DTA does not anticipate any major delays with this route change and passengers should expect the buses to run as scheduled.

Per the DTA this is the new route: Route 16 will depart downtown Duluth on Superior street entering I-35 Southbound ramp via Mesaba Avenue  Route 16 bus will continue on I-35 to Bong Bridge to Belknap Street then left on Banks Avenue, right on Broadway Street, right on Tower Avenue to 14th Street and then back to regular route.
