Duluth Bank Teller Held at Knife-Point During Robbery
Our partners at the Northland's NewsCenter are reporting reported earlier this morning the U.S. Bank branch on 20th Avenue West and Superior Street was robbed by an individual around 9:30 this morning.
The man grabbed a teller by the shirt and threatened her with a knife during the robbery. Following a search, Duluth Police spokesperson Jim Hansen confirmed authorities apprehended the suspect a few blocks away from the bank.
This is the same U.S. Bank location that was robbed on December 31 of last year, with an individual claiming to have a gun was able to get away with $2,000. That suspect was arrested in January in Arkansas.
