Duluth Police Department Asking for Help to Identify Armed Robbery Suspect

On Wednesday, January 30th, 2013 at 6:38 PM Duluth Police responded to a robbery with a gun at the ICO store, 527 North Sixth Avenue East.

Initial investigation revealed the suspect entered the store and pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at the clerk and asked for all of the money. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect left the store and was last seen on foot heading southbound on Sixth Avenue East.

The suspect was described as follows:

• Male
• White or possibly Native American
• 5’ tall
• Stocky build
• Light blue or grey hoodie
• Black pants
• Wearing blue latex gloves

The Duluth Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect. If anyone has any information they are asked to call 911. This is an active investigation; no further information is available at this time.
