Duluth Police took to social media to share a story of some officers who went above and beyond the call of duty by helping a bicyclist whose bike got busted up after an accident.

The damage to the bike happened when the bike was attached to the bike rake on the front of the bus. According to the Facebook post, "the DTA driver who was not at fault did an excellent job attempting to avoid this crash and could have been much worse."

The bicyclist, whose name is Wade, uses his bike as his main mode of transportation, knowing this, Duluth Police Officers, St. Louis County Deputies and Dispatchers pooled together some money and got Wade a new ride.
