Duluth police released an alert to the residents of the East Hillside neighborhood today to be on the look out for any suspicious activity that may help them solve and stop a flurry of burglaries in the area.

According to police, "Suspects have been knocking on doors and when confronted, they state that they have the wrong residence and leave."

In a reported incident on Saturday, March, 24th, at 2:01AM Duluth Police were called to the 1800 block of East Seventh Street on the report of an interrupted residential burglary in progress.

Officers arrived and learned that a renter had confronted the suspect who fled from the residence. It is believed that there were possibly two suspects involved in the incident. One of the suspects was described as a Native American or Hispanic male, early 20’s, approximately 5’6”, 150-160 pounds, with collar length hair and glasses.
