After a recent shooting incident on Skyline, Duluth Police Chief Tusken is taking a pro-active approach to fight crime in the popular location for families and tourists.

There is a part of this "wall" that has become a place where it's out of the way and remote so we do have drug deals here and activities that we don't want...We're going to be doing extra patrols. We're probably going to be having more contacts with people here.

I think it's a great idea to have extra patrols on skyline. While he assured Sunday night's incident was no threat to the community, it;s to know the Police are taking extra steps to ensure safety. Let me know in the comments below what you think of the extra patrol.
