Duluth Student Handing Out Oscars at the 85th Academy Awards
February 24, 2013 9:47 PM Abe Diaz, a recent graduate of Duluth East, entered the ”Oscar Experience College Search” by submitting a short video explaining what he would contribute to the future of movies, and he was selected to be one of six honored tonight at the Oscars by helping hand out the statues throughout the evening.
Abe also got to spend the week in Hollywood getting the full “Hollywood” experience, including a visit to the Disney animation studios and a meet and greet with nominees in the short film category.
