'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,' the long awaited prequel to the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy, doesn't open until December 14th but Twin Ports theatres are already selling tickets to this highly anticipated movie.

This is one of those rare movies that will open at midnight to satisfy the demands of fans who can't wait to return to Middle Earth with director Peter Jackson.

Two versions of the film will be released, a 2D and a 3D, both Duluth and Hermantown theatres will be showing both versions of the film at midnight on Thursday the 13th.

The Duluth Cinema will also have a midnight showing on the new UltraScreen with the option of sitting in a D-Box motion seat to add another dimension to the movie, this is how this geek will be rolling that night, I already got my D-Box seat reserved!!
