Eagles Fans Trash Packers Fan’s Car
A story like this makes me cheer even harder for the Packers!! They are just mad because they live in Philadelphia! No wonder the Fresh Prince high tailed it to Bel Air!!
PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- A Green Bay fan is blaming Eagles fans for vandalizing his car to the tune of $2,163 after last weekend's Packers playoff victory in Philadelphia.
Craig Coenen, 40, a Wisconsin native living in Lower Macungie Township, said he attended Sunday's game at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field with his visiting father and afterward found someone had stomped, kicked and beaten his Toyota Camry, The (Allentown, Pa.) Morning Call reported Wednesday.
Coenen, who said rowdy Eagles fans witnessed him and his father arrive at the game wearing Packers gear, said the vandals also broke his side mirrors and tore out his windshield wipers to use as paint scratching tools. He said the repair estimate he received was $2,163.
"It was just drunk, obnoxious Eagles fans," Coenen said. "Philadelphia is notorious for this, but hopefully the fans who did this are the exception, not the rule."
