It seems a little hard to believe in the iTunes age, but no one has ever sold more than a million copies of a digital album -- until now, that is.

Eminem has become the first artist to break the barrier with his most recent solo album, 'Recovery.'

"We are thrilled to congratulate Eminem on the history-making digital sales success of 'Recovery,'" applauded manager Paul Rosenberg, adding, "Over the years we’ve made a concerted effort to engage Em’s online fan base so this achievement is especially rewarding. Eminem made an amazing album with ‘Recovery’ and the fans responded in record numbers."

It's been an all-around banner year for Eminem, who celebrates the 'Recovery' milestone as he tops the Billboard album charts with 'Hell: The Sequel,' the debut EP from his Bad Meets Evil duo project with Royce da 5'9." The set's latest single, 'Lighters,' went for radio adds this week.
