What is the wackiest fundraising event that happens in Duluth??? The POLAR BEAR PLUNGE! Join us for this wild, crazy, and cold event! On Saturday, February 15th, over 1,000 Northlanders will jump into Lake Superior to help raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics of Minnesota. NEW TO THE PLUNGE THIS YEAR...The Duluth 5K! Join us in the morning for a 5K run along the Lake Superior Boardwalk!
Pre-registration is Friday night from 5-8pm. Saturday's festivities begin at 10am. The ever-famous costume contest will begin at 1pm and the the plunge will start at 2pm. Final prize drawings and awards will follow the completion of the plunge.
