Updated Fall Colors Map for the Duluth / Superior Area, North Shore, and Northern Wisconsin

One of the most wonderful things about living in this area or visiting the Twin Ports and North Shore is the breathtaking scenery throughout the year. With the varied terrain and Lake Superior influencing the weather, this area's fall foliage can vary greatly from one place to the next.

As of right now, the immediate Twin Ports region and the tip of Minnesota's Arrowhead are in full color, although some leaf loss has occurred due to the strong wind of last weekend. The midsection of Minnesota's North Shore and Iron Range is expected to peak within the next week, while much of Northern Wisconsin is currently at or near peak; with the exception of the Bayfield Peninsula and Ashland areas. This spot is expected to peak within the next week or so as well.
