F**kin’ Perfect. I’m Crying AGAIN.

This is Pink's edited version of Perfect.  (The real NSFW version is F**kin' Perfect.)  I chose this over the original for my blog in case you have children or co-workers around. However, I recommend the version you shouldn't watch at work because it's suprising how powerful the addition of that one little four letter word (even though it's a swear word) can make this video.

I watched the unedited version when I saw this video for the first time.  It brought tears to my eyes.  (If you haven't figured out from the rest of my blogs--I'm a cryer.)  Not necessarily because somewhere deep down inside I relate to Tina Majorino's (Deb from Napoleon Dynamite) character in the video, but more so because I'm a mother of an 8 year old girl.  I know what it's like to be a young woman with self-esteem issues, to be insecure,  and feel unaccepted by peers.  Because honestly, what girl hasn't?  So I was not crying while I was thinking about my past.  What made me sad was that I was hit with the harsh realization that my daughter is growing up in a world where bullying, self-mutilation and depression are more common than they were when I was a kid.  I want to shield my little girl from the cruelty of the world.  But I can't...so I cry.

After you watch the video let me know if you cried too--or if I need to see a doctor to get my internal sensitivity button fixed.
